Till receipts from the third aisle
I've been meaning to start a collection of these for ages. Sounds daft but I can't help
noticing when the abbreviations the supermarkets use to fit the descriptions on the till
roll are amusing.
At the moment, I've just inserted the text from the receipts. If I get time (hah). I'll scan them
in and put the scanned images here as well.
If you fail to see what's funny in these then go
somewhere else.

Traditional
We are so used to receipts we can make some sense of, I now find
it amusing when presented with an old fashioned receipt such as:
06-11-96
2 *20.00
*20.00CA
10-04
000-0971
Goodness only knows what I bought but it obviously involved the number 'twenty'.
Be careful what you eat from the supermarket...

If you have a receipt that YOU found funny, please
email me with:
- A scan of the receipt (.gif) if you can. Just a portion if it is a large receipt.
- The funny text in the receipt.
- The store you got it from.
